An instance of this Device type contains an instance of the PRXY_RES type to provide communication of device management requests and responses between a SystemManager and a remote device instance.

• The parameters of this Device Type are the same as those of the contained PRXY_RES instance.
• The MGR_ID parameter can be used to select among device management protocols as described for the MGR_ID parameter of the PRXY_RES type.
