In the Bytronic Industrial Control Trainer shown below, a yellow plastic ring is assembled to an aluminum peg. Components may be placed on a chain conveyor in an arbitrary order and are sorted into appropriate positions for assembly on a belt conveyor. Unassembled parts are rejected at the end of the belt conveyor.

The testbed is mounted to a base whose dimensions are approximately 1m x 50 cm. The base has a latching cover with wheels and handles for transport. The dimensions of the base and cover are approximately 1m x 50cm x 50cm when assembled and latched. The weight of the combined testbed and cover is approximately 40 kg.
