An instance of this function block type encapsulates the View element for displaying the position of a workpiece or tool along a single axis of motion.

The type of workpiece or tool displayed is determined by the value of the STYLE input. See the documentation of the VSTYLE data type for descriptions of the possible display styles.

The occurrence of an event at the REQ input causes the workpiece position, style and color to be updated with the values of the corresponding inputs, followed by an event at the CNF output.

A user click on the body of the displayed element causes the FAULT state to toggle, indicated by an event occurence at the IND output and a color change in the small area at the upper left of the displayed element.

The default value of the DIA input may be overridden when an instance of this function block type is used in an instance of the VIEW_PANEL resource type.
