example. As shown by the highlighted elements in the accompanying
figures, this is done by modifying the distributed ASM_MVCDR2 configuration as
follows:

ASM_MVCDR2.MODELDevice is renamed toASM_MVCDM2.MACHINEto emphasize its mechatronic nature. -
The
ASSY_CTLResource is moved from theASM_MVCDR2.CONTROLDevice to theASM_MVCDM2.MACHINEDevice. -
The
ASM_MVCDR2.CONTROLDevice is renamed toASM_MVCDM2.HMIto emphasize that it now serves only the Human/Machine Interface function. -
The
DIAGNOSTICS.TAGSandMACHINE.TAGSResources are modified to show that actuator data is now produced in theMACHINEDevice and consumed by theDIAGNOSTICSandHMIDevices.
