An instance of this simple function block type compares two variables of the IEC 61131-3 DATE_AND_TIME data type. Upon the occurrence of an event at the REQ input, the OUT value is set to the value of the Boolean expression IN1 <= IN2, and an event is then issued at the CNF output.
