Preferences Dialog

This dialog is opened with the Preferences button of the FBEditor's menu bar.
The first time this dialog is opened, it shows the values loaded from the editor.ini file (if no value is given in editor.ini for a parameter, a default value is used).
  • The values shown above are those provided by the editor.ini file supplied with the FBDK, which work with the Windows™ XP system on which the FBDK was tested.
The Save button saves the current values in the Preferences dialog to the editor.ini file for future use.
The Restore button replaces the current values in the Preferences dialog with the stored values from the editor.ini file.
The Defaults button replaces the current values in the Preferences dialog with default values defined for the editor.ini file.
The OK button accepts the current values in the Preferences dialog and closes the dialog window.
  • New values for the bounds, java, javac and timeout preferences must be confirmed by leaving their respective text fields via the Enter or Tab key before pressing the OK button.
  • A new value for the lookAndFeel preference will not apply unless it is saved with the Save button, following which the FBEditor must be closed and then re-launched in order for the new value to apply.
